Bringing a foreign payment home: your deadline

From the end of the project to the money landing in your foreign currency account. Enter your dates to see which deadline applies.

  1. Finish and invoice the project

The invoice shows the date the project ended. The clock starts there.

    Day 0
  2. The client pays

Into your foreign currency account, or onto a payment platform. Note the payment date.

    Any date
  3. Bring it home the same day

Once the client has paid, the money must be repatriated straight away, without waiting for the deadline.

    Payment day
  4. No later than 120 days after the project

If the client has not paid yet, the cap is still 120 days after the project ended.

    Day 120
